The Ramirez Life Group is a 30's and early 40's Lakepointe Church Life group. We have school aged children ranging from newborn to 11.

Our purpose is to grow in true biblical community. We strive to encourage each other, study Scripture together, pray for one another and pursue the next steps in our spiritual journey (ESPN).

Lastly, the foundation of our life group is based on 3 components which we refer to as the 3 C's.

Serving & Giving

Our goal is to always be the church...not just go to church.

We serve as a life group in different ways throughout the year. Our local mission opportunity is the the Children's Advocacy Center with the Foster and Adopt Ministry. We also care for our life group members when needs arise. We have two accounts that members of the Life Group donate to above and beyond the normal tithe each month. Our Care Account is to help group members in a time of need and our Missions Account helps support our local missions. Click here to give to Lakepointe Church

Life Group Foundations

Shepherd Your Family

Be a GREAT Husband/Wife. Be a GREAT Father/Mother. Be a good _____________. We are always wanting to make sure that we are shepherding our families and fulfilling our calling God has placed on our lives. (1 Timothy 5:8) The goal of the Life Group is to come along side you and your family to help where we can.

When you commit to a Life Group, you are committing to a body of believers who care about you and your family. You will also get the opportunity to serve one another. We are here for your family in the mountains and the valleys.

Life Group Health

One of the most important part of being in a Life Group is a commitment to the health of the Life Group. When you commit to being apart of a Life Group you are committing to being apart of a body of believers all walking toward maturity in Jesus. If you are going to be a part of the Life Group, you actually have to come to Life Group. "Worshiping Jesus together may be the single most important thing we do."

We want to live out what the early church did in Acts 2:42. ENCOURAGEMENT: We are there to encourage each other in our struggles and our blessings. SCRIPTURE: This is the central focus of Life Group. It is designed around studying the scriptures together. PRAYER: As we start to share our struggles and blessing we will know how to pray for one another. NEXT STEPS: As we are sanctified, we will grow and will always need to take that next step of faith.

Make It Official

In order to be a member of the life group, you must also be a member of the Church. You will need to attend the Next Steps class that is offered by Lake Pointe, if you haven't already done so. In this class, you will learn more about taking your next step in your relationship with God or with our church. You will also find out more about different serving opportunities within the church. Click Here to check out the Next Step class.

After you are a member of the church, we would love to have you be a member of our Life Group. Our mission is that we are the church. We want to embody 1 Thessalonians 5: 14-22 . Biblical community identifies the needs of members, is selfless, and rejoices in all circumstances. Every member has a unique spiritual gift and something God has designed them to add to the group.
